حباب قیمت دارایی عبارت است از انحراف قیمت دارایی از ارزش بنیادین آن. نظر به این‎که بسیاری از بحران‎های مالی به دنبال ترکیدن حباب دارایی‎های مالی به وجود می‏آیند، بررسی رفتارهای حبابی در این بازارها و تشخیص اولیه جهت پیشگیری از پیامدهای ناگوار اقتصادی حائز اهمیت است. با توجه به انتقادات وارد بر آزمون‏های متعارف کشف حباب‏های قیمتی و نیز اهمیت موضوع، در پژوهش حاضر، روش‏های نوظهور ارایه شده توسط فیلیپس و همکاران (2011 و 2012) مبتنی بر آزمون‎های‏ ریشه واحد دیکی- فولر تعمیم‏یافته راست دنباله (RTADF) مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. در این راستا، به منظور آزمون رفتار انفجاری، وجود حباب‎های چندگانه و تعیین دوره‎های حبابی در بازار ارز غیررسمی ایران، آزمون‎های SADF و GSADF برای داده‏های ماهانه نرخ ارز اسمی طی دوره 1394:12-1381:01 انجام شده است. از آن‎جاکه رفتار انفجاری در نرخ ارز اسمی ممکن است ناشی از رفتار انفجاری در بنیادهای آن باشد، برای اظهارنظر پیرامون وجود حباب‎های عقلایی در بازار ارز، شاخص‏های نسبت نرخ ارز اسمی به قیمت نسبی کالاهای قابل تجارت و نسبت نرخ ارز اسمی به قیمت نسبی کالاهای غیر قابل تجارت نیز مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفته‏اند. طبق نتایج حاصل، در دوره مورد بررسی، بازار ارز ایران رفتار انفجاری و حباب‏های چندگانه را تجربه نموده است. همچنین، قیمت‏های نسبی کالاهای قابل تجارت توضیح‏دهنده مناسبی برای رفتار انفجاری در نرخ ارز اسمی است. یافته‏ها نشان داد که رفتار انفجاری نرخ ارز اسمی در دوره‏های 1387:9-1387:7، 1390:12-1390:10 و 1391:8-1391:6 به دلیل وجود حباب‎های عقلایی در نرخ ارز و در سایر دوره‏های تعیین‎شده، ناشی از عامل بنیادین قیمت‏‎های نسبی کالاهای قابل تجارت بوده است. بنابراین، توصیه می‎شود جهت کنترل نوسانات شدید نرخ ارز، علاوه بر پیش‎بینی حباب‎های قیمتی، به نوسانات قیمت‏ها در بازار کالاهای تجاری نیز توجه بیشتری گردد. همچنین، با توجه به امکان تکرارشوندگی حباب‏ها، بهتر است به منظور کشف حباب‎ها‎ از آزمون GSADF استفاده شود.
