درسال­های اخیر برخی تحقیقات بر اهمیت منشاء تکانه های نفتی برای پویایی­های اقتصاد کلان در کشورهای صادرکننده و واردکننده نفت تمرکز داشته ­اند. الگوهای تعادل عمومی پویای تصادفی(DSGE) چارچوب مناسبی برای بررسی رفتار پویای متغیرهای کلان است. در ادبیات موجود تاکنون از این چارچوب برای بررسی تاثیر منشاء تکانه­های نفتی بر متغیرهای کلان بصورت همزمان در دو کشور صادرکننده و واردکننده نفت استفاده نشده است. بنابراین، در این تحقیق با استفاده از این چارچوب به بررسی تفاوت اثرات ناشی از تکانه­های سمت عرضه و تقاضای نفت بر متغیرهای اقتصاد کلان کشورهای صادرکننده و واردکننده نفت پرداخته شده است. بعد از ساخت و حل الگو پارامترهای مورد نیاز با استفاده از داده­های فصلی 1986:1-2017:4 برای کشور ایران به عنوان صادرکننده نفت که با بقیه جهان تجارت دارد، به روش بیزی برآورد شده است. بررسی نشان می­دهد که تکانه کاهش تولید (با منشاء عرضه) نفت ایران ، باعث کاهش تولید، تراز تجاری غیرنفتی، اشتغال، تورم و مصرف کشور شده است، درحالیکه تکانه­ نفتی با منشاء طرف تقاضا از طریق افزایش درآمد نفتی باعث افزایش تولید، تراز تجاری غیرنفتی اشتغال، مصرف و تورم می­شود. همچنین در کشور واردکننده نفت تکانه سمت عرضه نفت، باعث رکود و افزایش هزینه­های تولید شده و تولید و مصرف را کاهش و تورم را افزایش خواهد داد درحالیکه تکانه سمت تقاضای نفت با ایجاد تحرک در اقتصاد باعث رونق شده و تولید و تورم را افزایش می­دهد. براین اساس، سیاستگذارها باید هنگام اتخاذ سیاست اقتصادی به منشاء تکانه نفتی توجه کنند زیرا بی توجهی به این مسئله می تواند پیامد های مخربی بر اقتصاد داشته باشد. در نظر گرفتن این موضوع بخصوص برای سیاستگذار اقتصادی درایران به عنوان یک کشور مهم نفتی از اهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار است.
